We recognise and understand that parenting can be tough!
All of us experience ups and downs - there are times of joy and celebration, as well as life events or periods that are challenging, and some moments will contain a bit of both. In these tough times it is important to know you are not alone, it’s the support of family, friends and colleagues that can help us through.
That’s why R U OK? Day is so important. Our MFS tip; this RUOK? Day learn the 4 conversation steps at https://www.ruok.org.au/ to support meaningful connection today and every day!

R U OK? is a su***de prevention charity in Australia.

🦀 Tiny Tykes Supported Playgroup is on this Thursday! 💚

Join Patience & Bec for a fun-filled morning of sensory play and underwater adventures with Slime & Sea Animals! Little ones will explore stretchy, squishy slime, discover sea creatures and enjoy hands-on sensory play that encourages curiosity, creativity and fine motor development.

Our Smalltalk parent conversation is all about Tuning In. Tuning in means noticing what your child is looking at, interested in or trying to communicate, then responding with warmth and encouragement. These everyday moments help build your child's confidence, language and connection with you.

Come along, get a little messy, and enjoy a morning of play and connection together!

Whilst we are passionate about it's a week we wish we didn't have to have. At MFS child safety is at the centre of everything we do, and we believe every child deserves to feel safe, heard and supported- you can see our pledge at https://www.napcan.org.au/national-child-protection-week-pledge/
National Child Protection Week reminds us that protecting children is everyone's responsibility. Here's what families can do at home this week:
❤️ Listen when children share their feelings.
💛 Teach children they can talk to trusted adults and who those adults are.
💚 Help children know their body belongs to them.
💙Use our free child safety colouring page you can download and start a conversation.

🌿 Tiny Tykes Supported Playgroup is on this Thursday! 📚

🌱 Nature-inspired play: Join Bec & Sheena for a morning of exploring, discovering and playing in nature! Nature offers endless opportunities for little ones to learn through their senses while having fun outdoors.

📖 Songs, stories and reading ideas to try at home- Our Smalltalk parent conversation is all about Reading Together. Sharing books every day helps build your child's language, imagination and confidence, and it doesn't have to be a long story. Even 5 minutes of reading together can make a big difference.
