Job Skills students Sopha, Phanny and Nok have been developing confidence and practical skills for the workforce with teacher Harriet. The program supports students preparing for their first job, returning to work, or building their job-seeking skills for new opportunities.

The Introduction to Manufacturing students recently enjoyed an informative behind-the-scenes tour of Capeview Building Products led by General Manager Peter Sheerin.

Students Olivia, Abi, Steve, Zach, Thomas and Kai AKG Australia learnt how each department operates, explored the machinery and production processes. It was a great insight into a local business that has been operating for 65 years.

A big thank you to ACFE for supporting teacher Daryl to co-design the course in partnership with Capeview Building Products, and to for generously funding one of the student places.

From dough to delicious 🍽️🔥 Kaedin absolutely smashed it in our Hospitality-based Capacity Building cooking session, making homemade naan from scratch using self-raising flour and yoghurt, finished with garlic butter and cooked over the open flame for that perfect char. Paired with a rich Lamb Korma also made by Kaedin — the end result looked (and tasted) incredible! 👨‍🍳✨
