This week Wondai SS celebrated Under 8s Day in the Prep playground, and what a fantastic morning it was!
Our students and local community enjoyed a morning full of creativity, imagination, adventure and play as we celebrated 70 Years of Play. From painting, obstacle course and sensory play to loose parts construction and craft activities, there were smiles everywhere you looked.
A huge highlight of the day was welcoming some very special visitors from our local Fire & Rescue and Police services. The students loved exploring the Big Red Fire Truck, meeting our local heroes, and learning more about the important role they play in keeping our community safe.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the morning so special for our students. It was wonderful to see learning, laughter and play all come together in such a meaningful way.

Today our Prep to Year 3 students joined children right across Australia to celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime in the library at Wondai SS.
Students listened to Luna Roo, The Kangaroo Baller being read online alongside schools and libraries from across the country. What a special experience it was to hear the story brought to life by the authors themselves.
A wonderful time of storytelling, imagination, connection and shared learning together.
