The Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival is rolling around once again, bringing contemporary creativity into one of the most historic landscapes in New South Wales. Held every two years, this much‑loved event has grown into the largest regional sculpture festival in NSW, drawing artists, locals, and visitors together in a celebration of artistic expression and place.
From 12–26 September 2026, the Wollombi Valley will come alive with striking contemporary works set against sandstone heritage, charming village vignettes and sweeping rural vistas. It’s a rare chance to experience cutting‑edge sculpture in a setting that feels both stubbornly timeless and deeply rooted in community.
Expect two weeks filled with art, festivity, and that unmistakable Wollombi Valley spirit—warm welcomes, good feelings, and plenty of opportunities to wander, explore, and connect. Whether you’re a long‑time local or visiting for the first time, the Wollombi Valley opens its arms to you.

The Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival is in full swing and what a triumph it is.
The sculptures are a true celebration of contemporary sculpture, as too each of the finalist works on exhibition throughout the Wollombi Valley.

SUNSET WINE & DINE....
To coincide with the 20th anniversary celebration of the Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival (10-25 SEPT) we’re collaborating with the hugely talented Chef Nathan Cooper for FOUR extraordinary evenings .
We invite you to join us for a 4 course, delectable dining experience complimented by our fine wines.
Each evening will commence at 4pm with a glass of Champenoise and a tour of the sculptures on exhibition at Undercliff. Followed by a wine tasting conducted by our winemaker Peter Hamshere, with dinner commencing at 6pm.

It’s been 2 years since the outstanding finalist works of the Wollombi Valley Sculpture Festival graced our Estate.

We’re so excited for September (10-25) when we’ll once again exhibit some of the 2022 finalist works for the 20yr celebration of this joyous event - Wollombi Sculpture in the Vineyards

Sculptors have until midnight this Sunday 19 June to submit their entries.

We look forward to re-connecting with the wonderful creatives and friends who’ve helped make this festival such a success.

Autumn feels at Undercliff Winery, Wollombi.
The stunning Hunter Valley is a kaleidoscope of colour. Come for the scenery and sample the finery.

Our traditional basket pressed Shiraz exhibits a warm soft berry palate, chocolate hints and peppery spice aromas. Very fine tannins combined with fine grain oak maturation enhance its complex flavours.
