I received the most amazing email today, and I am so grateful that I am able to assist families at their most vulnerable. It is a real privilege.

Hello Janice ,
I’m touching base with you to express my appreciation in the way you conducted the process of my Mum’s service. Starting with dealing our initial contact via teams meeting. How you managed to understand and capture the essence of Mum - V and our family’s dynamics from a few short hours astounds me.
Your guidance and experience in constructing Mum’s service seemed effortless. Even our face to face meeting in Toowoomba was one of ease and comfort while you dealt with all the emotional undertones. You adapted and adjusted to what you
observed and felt from the congregation on the day and that is an outstanding skill.

Your compassion, professionalism and calm persona that you showed to my family and myself is something I’ll always remember and I’m grateful for.
In closing, Janice, my words feel inadequate but are heartfelt and I’ve tried to express just some of what I feel.
May you continue with your vocation in which you clearly excel. I wish you the very best.
Thank you, two words that somehow don’t seem to be enough, for everything.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and started the New Year off relaxed and refreshed. We had a wonderful Christmas as had all the kids home for Christmas Day, very grateful.

Our little Dashie looks like a drowned rat after frolicking in the garden after the storm passed through. We had 19ml which is just wonderful. Power out at the moment so drinks on the verandah and wait until it comes back on before thinking about dinner.

What a pleasure it was to marry this fun couple Troy and Kelly today in front of their family and friends at the Murphys Creek Tavern. They have been together for 20 years and decided to finally tie the knot. The ceremony was low key and laid back just like they are. Murphys Creek Tavern was the perfect spot for their country wedding.

I received a lovely ‘Thank You’ card with a touching message in the mail this week from a recent funeral service I led. The message says, “Dear Janice, Thank you so much for your beautiful card, and for making Mum’s last farewell exactly how she would have wanted. You helped to turn such a painful event into a beautiful send off, and for that we are so grateful. Warmest Regards, F family.”
They were such a beautiful family and it is always such a privilege to lead a Celebration of Life service.

What an exciting wedding this afternoon in Murphys Creek where I had the privilege of marrying Zachary and Rhiannon in what is a first for me, the middle of a bull ride event. It will be memorable for the happy couple and guests, that's for sure. Congratulations Zachary & Rhiannon, may you have the ride of your life!
