Shire of Wickepin A Fortunate Place! A 2.5hr drive from Perth, the Wickepin area was settled in the early 1900's as a service centre for grain and sheep farming.

The Shire covers an area of 198,900ha including the towns of Wickepin, Yealering, Harrismith and Tincurrin.
