🧠 Parent Information Session | The Worried Brain

Join us next Monday for our second Parent Information Session for the term, presented by our Social Worker, Kendall and Facilitated by Student Services Team and DP Mrs Mitchell.

These sessions are an invaluable opportunity to build our understanding and learn practical ways to support our children. We offer two different topics each term, with sessions designed specifically for our Whitfield families.

Sessions are offered at 8:15am and 2:00pm. We’d love to see you there! 💙

P&C Father's Day Stall

A huge thank you to our wonderful P&C and parent volunteers for running this morning’s Father’s Day Stall! 🎁

Events like our Father’s Day Stall are about so much more than choosing a special gift. They provide our students with opportunities to develop real-world skills in a fun and meaningful setting.

Students practise:
💰 Money-handling and financial literacy – counting money, making choices and completing purchases
🗣️ Communication skills – confidently speaking with volunteers and asking questions
🤝 Social skills – taking turns, being polite and interacting with different adults
🧠 Decision-making – choosing an item within their budget and considering what someone special might like
🌟 Independence and confidence – making their own choices and completing a purchase themselves
❤️ Thoughtfulness and empathy – thinking about someone they care about and selecting a gift especially for them

A big thank you to everyone who gave their time to make this experience possible for our students. Your support helps create these wonderful real-world learning opportunities at Whitfield! 💚
