Busy long weekend here at Whites Valley Jalapeños! 🌶️

We’ve been harvesting the last of this season’s jalapeño crop. As the plants near the end of their season, many of the chillies don’t quite meet the shape and size standards for our signature pickled jalapeños.

They may not be jar-perfect, but they’re still full of flavour and a great reminder of the hard work that goes into every product we make.

Rain, hail or shine, the markets go on 🌧️🌶️

Yesterday at Stirling Market was definitely a wet one, but a huge thank you to all our customers, old and new, who braved the rain to come and visit us.

What many people don’t see is the extra work that comes after a wet market day. Once we get home, everything is muddy wet… and we mean EVERYTHING. Tables cloths, tubs, banners, marquees, soggy boxes — it all needs unpacking, washing, drying and cleaning before it can all be packed up again for the next market.

But despite the rain, muddy shoes and long clean-up, days like yesterday are always worth it.

From the rich Shiraz Chipotle Jam, to the bold Double Smoked Chipotle Jam and the sweet Wild Fig Chipotle Jam, these beauties have become a market favourite. Smoky, sweet, sticky and full of flavour, they pair perfectly with cheese, burgers, roast meats, toasties and grazing boards.
