The Werris Creek Public School Soccer Team played against Barraba Public School in the Small Schools Soccer Knockout Competition in Barraba last Friday, 12th June. The team travelled by bus to Barraba as it was their home game. The team represented our school with pride, and it was nail bitting to the end. Congratulations to Barraba who won the game 7-3 and are through to the next round of competition. We wish Barraba all the best in the next round of competition.

The Parent/Carer Survey closes today. This survey is for Parents of students in Yrs 3-6. The survey gives you the opportunity to share your experience at our school, including communication, inclusion, wellbeing and how your child's learning is supported. The link to have your say is:

Today we hosted the Small Schools Sports Day with Premer, Spring Ridge and Blackville. All students had a fantastic day with many different activities on offer. We would like to give a huge shout out and thank you to Rachel Babb for your dance teaching. All students thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Also thank you to Doug and Deb Durrant (Lions Club of Werris Creek) for all of your help in cooking and serving our delicious lunch. Also, a big thank you to all of our staff and students for making the day a great success. We look forward to the next one.

Our Small Schools Sports Day is on next Wednesday, 20th May. We are still waiting on notes from some students for lunch that consists of a Sausage Sandwich, Popper/Water, Popcorn and a piece of Fruit for $10.00. If you could please provide this by Monday if your child has not yet returned or paid so we can ensure they do not miss out.
