🧑‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ Hygiene and puberty talks 👨‍⚕️🧑‍⚕️

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Karen and Joel from Buronga HealthOne and NSW Health for presenting an engaging and informative hygiene and puberty talk to our Stage 2 and 3 students.

A special shout out to the of Rotary Club of Wentworth for generously providing our fabulous hygiene packs, helping our students put their new knowledge into practice at home. We also thank Wentworth Pharmacy and Buronga HealthOne for their valuable contributions to these packs.

🐴🎨 Wentworth Show 🎨🐴

What a success! A huge congratulations to all of our students who entered their amazing craft items in the pavilion at the Wentworth Show! Our school display looked incredibly bright and beautiful, showcasing a wonderful variety of student artwork and published writing.

We also had a fantastic win with our school scarecrow and our delicious cooking creations, which were made straight from our school kitchen garden! A massive well done to Mrs Gebert for encouraging and inspiring our students to achieve these wonderful results. It was an absolute pleasure to support this true country show, and we are incredibly proud of everyone involved!

To top it all off, congratulations to our anthem and “River Town Pride” singers as well!

📖 Library visits 📖

Thank you to the Wentworth Shire Libraries for inviting us to celebrate Book Week together!

All our students from K-6 enjoyed listening to a story and taking part in a highly engaging craft activity. It’s always wonderful to visit our local library and share the joy of reading!

📚 Book Week 📚

It was wonderful to see so many students dressed up to celebrate Book Week! Our students enjoyed engaging in craft activities inspired by nominated CBCA books, followed by a stylish parade for friends and family.

A special shout out to our Year 5 and 6 students who paired up with our friends from Wentworth Preschool to complete a craft activity and a buddy reading together.

A big thank you to Wentworth Shire Libraries for joining us and presenting our book prizes, to our resident MC Mr Jones and Mrs Cullinan for her phenomenal organisation!

Come along and join us for our Book Week Parade on Monday 24th August at 10:45am! Dress up as your favourite book character and celebrate the joy of reading with us. 📖

Need a costume? The Wentworth Rotary Community Op Shop on Darling Street, opposite the Shire Building, has lots of great costumes at fantastic prices! 🎭
