We meet for an hour a week to plan & execute programs at 6pm on Monday's at the Lake View Hotel, Ballarat or via zoom. We are a non-traditional Rotary Club, part of Rotary International, a volunteer organisation with around 1.2 million members worldwide. Because of this we can make an impact on global projects, like the campaign to End Polio and form partnerships with Rotary Clubs overseas - like
our partnerships with Bali Ubud Sunset and Bali Tamin Rotary clubs to provide health care and clean water in remote, rural areas of Bali. We combine with other Australian clubs on the campaign to End Trachoma and support literacy in our indigenous, outback communities. We form partnerships with local groups and organisations for other projects such as EATUP - providing cheese sandwiches to 20+ primary schools (more than 29,000 sandwiches provided since 2017) and developing Rotary Centennial Park near Mullawallah Wetlands in Ballarat. Our meetings are dedicated to discussing our projects, no speeches or traditions, just people of action volunteering together to get things done. We welcome people who are keen to make a difference, to get in touch and see who we are and how we do what we do.
