A day celebrating the our emerging Clontarf Artists and their beautiful work from Bunnuru Moorditj Mia(our Art room)! 🎨

Our Year 10 and 11 Visual Arts students spent the day yesterday immersed in clay in a ceramics workshop led by the Ana Dulchay Studio. Students learned to slab‑build vessels and experimented with expressive surface decoration techniques such as underglaze painting, sgraffito and applique.

Each artwork was designed to represent a personal story from home — turning clay into a meaningful narrative form. We’re so proud of the creativity, focus and heart they brought to the workshop.

🏉 Term 2 Footy Wrap Up 🏉

The Physical Education Department at Clontarf Aboriginal College congratulates all students involved in WAFC Schools Competition. The effort, teamwork and sportsmanship shown across all teams were outstanding.
Our Junior Boys finished 2nd in the Year 8/9 Eagles Division, while the Senior Boys placed 3rd on the ladder, both demonstrating strong commitment throughout the season.
A special mention to our Senior Girls, who finished 3rd in the White Division and progressed to the quarter final against Ellenbrook Secondary College, where they put up a great fight in a closely contested match. A fantastic achievement to reach the finals.
We also look forward to our Junior Girls team competing next term.
Thank you to all staff who volunteered their time to support and coach our teams—these opportunities would not be possible without them.
Well done to all involved for representing Clontarf Aboriginal College with pride. 👏

What an unforgettable experience for 10 lucky students today!
The students enjoyed a personalised tour of the club led by current West Coast Eagles Captain Liam Duggan, gaining a unique behind the scene look at what it takes to perform at the highest level.

From exploring the high-performance gym and training facilities to learning about the rich history of the club, students were given an insight into life as a professional footballer. The opportunity was made even more special with students asking questions, collecting signatures and to meet one of the club's leaders up close.

A huge thank you to Liam for sharing his time and inspiring our students on and off the field!

Yesterday we proudly celebrated the 40th Anniversary of Clontarf Aboriginal College!

It was a wonderful day shared with our community, friends and families, including many valued alumni. A special mention to Andrea Williams (Class of 1986) and her mum Josie, a long-standing board member. We were also honoured to welcome former Principal Donella Brown and our founding Principal, Brother Kevin Ryan.
The day included a special Mass, birthday cake, memorabilia and photo displays, and a shared lunch filled with connection and celebration.

Thank you to our staff, students and guests for making this milestone such a memorable occasion!

Our Year 10 and Year 11 Visual Arts students recently engaged in a dynamic learning experience at the Art Gallery of Western Australia. 🎨
Through a guided tour centred on First Nations Art, students deepened their understanding of cultural perspectives, exploring how artists communicate stories, identity and meaning through visual language. Thoughtful discussions with gallery educators encouraged critical thinking and interpretation.
Students then moved into an artist-led workshop, where they applied these ideas in practice—experimenting with materials, composition and creative processes as they took on the roles of fashion designers and runway photographers.
This immersive experience supported both conceptual and practical learning, allowing students to develop their artistic skills, think creatively and confidently express their ideas in a real-world context.
