π Happy New Year from Fire and Rescue NSW β Fire and Rescue NSW Station 491 Warren π
As we will soon be welcoming in the New Year, the members of Fire and Rescue NSW Station 491 Warren would like to wish our local community and surrounding areas a safe, happy, and positive year ahead.
Wherever your celebrations may take you, please take care on the roads. Double demerits are still in place, and itβs important to obey all road rules, drive to the conditions, take regular breaks, and never rush. Arriving late is always better than not arriving at all. With school holidays continuing, please remain especially mindful of children, pedestrians, and other road users.
As part of the emergency services, we understand that every year comes with both highs and lows. What gets us through is teamwork, community support, and looking out for one another β values we encourage everyone to carry into 2026.
Most importantly, please remember that help and advice are always available at both large and small New Yearβs Eve celebrations. Event coordinators, emergency service personnel, and support staff are present in many areas to assist if needed. If something doesnβt feel right, or you need guidance, please donβt hesitate to reach out.
We also encourage everyone to spare a thought for those who may be spending New Year alone. If you have a neighbour, friend, or family member nearby, taking a moment to check in or say hello can make a real difference.
Fire and Rescue NSW Station 491 Warren looks forward to continuing to support and serve our community throughout the year ahead.
π Stay safe, look after one another, and have a Happy New Year. π
