Nearly 1 week ago some of our wonderful P&C members organised and ran the Westlakes PSSA Zone Cross Country BBQ at Avondale University, with the help of some of our parents.

It was a hectic yet fun morning of cooking and serving up delicious b&e rolls, sausage sandwiches, drinks and snacks to hungry competitors and their families!

We wish to send a special thanks to everyone who helped on the day, a big shout out to Amanda for her exemplary organisation and Ryan for his transportation and barbecuing expertise.

We are incredibly grateful to have such a supportive and involved school community 🥰

💛🍩 Thank you for supporting Donut Day! 💛🍩
A big thank you to all the families who purchased donuts for their children - we hope they enjoyed their sweet treat! 😋

And a huge shout out to our amazing team of helpers. We truly couldn't do it without you! 🙌

Thanks to your support, we raised $218.40 to go towards the running of our school bus💛

Tonight, we had a fantastic turnout of parents at our first 2026 P&C meeting and pizza dinner 🍕, where two cheques were presented by our President, Nathan Wood, to Principal Lee Englefield — one for the purchase and install of our new 900mm canteen oven and another to help fund the new school bus.

Thank you to these 15 parents and our Principal, Lee for taking time out of their busy lives to contribute positively to our school community. We look forward to a brilliant year together! 😁

Prior to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday 17 March we invite parents and carers who wish to nominate themselves for a 2026 executive or coordinator position, or to express an interest in a position to click on the link below and complete the form.

🍪💛 Cookie Day Thank You! 💛🍪

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who helped make cookie day run so smoothly.

Thank you also to all the families who purchased cookies for their children. Thanks to your support we raised $277.20, which will go towards subsidising the school bus for our students 🚍

And a very special shout out to the Casey family, who so generously purchased all the cookies for the event - your kindness and support mean so much to our school community ❤️
