Wangaratta Youth Council Member Ed Browne recently spent the day at Australian Parliament House with the office of Helen Haines MP.

During the visit, Ed met with an adviser to the Minister for Youth, to highlight the needs of young people in rural and regional communities including safe, welcoming youth spaces. He also presented a letter on behalf of our Youth Council advocating for continued funding for the Australian Youth Affairs Coalition.

Opportunities like this help ensure the voices of young people in our region are heard at a national level. Well done, Ed 👏
