Amazing work to our home reading superstar, Cleo, who has completed an incredible 200 nights of reading!

Regular reading at home helps children build vocabulary, improve fluency, strengthen comprehension and develop greater confidence as readers. Even a small amount of reading each night can make a big difference to literacy development.

🔬 STEM Challenge Day 🔧

Our students had a fantastic time putting their creativity, problem solving and teamwork skills to the test at a STEM Challenge Day alongside students from other local schools. Our year 5 team even came third!

Opportunities like these highlight the value of collaboration across schools, allowing students to share ideas, tackle challenges together and learn from one another. What a wonderful day of innovation, connection and fun!

💙 SASS Appreciation Week 💙

This week, we celebrate our incredible SLSOs, General Assistant and office staff!

We appreciate every Band Aid given, book read, feeling nurtured, shoelace tied, resource prepared, playground problem solved, phone call answered, mess cleaned, tear wiped, fidget rescued from the drain and encouraging word shared.

And apparently, they do quite a lot of running too!

Your care, patience and hard work make a difference every single day. Wambi thrives because of you!

Playgroup Fun!

Today we enjoyed our second last playgroup session. We have thoroughly enjoyed the sessions this term, particularly being able to enjoy the play equipment!

We are very much looking forward to welcoming all kinder 2027 students for our formal transition program - Wambles.

A huge congratulations to Cleo and Rufus, who both received honourable mentions in Coasties Magazine’s first-ever Story Writing Competition!

What a wonderful achievement and recognition of their creativity and writing skills.
