This Watch and Act message is being issued for Berringama, Bullioh, Burrowye, Darbyshire, Guys Forest, Koetong, Lucyvale, Mount Alfred, Shelley, Tallangatta East, Tallangatta Valley.
- There is a bushfire at 27Km West Of Walwa that is not yet under control.
- The bushfire is travelling from Mt Lawson State Park in a southerly direction.
- Two community meetings will be held today (Thursday 8 January) 9:00am at Bullioh Fire Station and 11:30am at the Walwa Recreation Reserve. these meetings will be live streamed to the Towong Shire page.

Don't wait, leaving now is the safest option - conditions may change and get worse very quickly. Emergency services may not be able to help you if you decide to stay.
