Today, Walpole Primary School pauses to honour the courage and sacrifice of all those who have served Australia and New Zealand in times of conflict — and those who continue to serve today.
Anzac Day holds a special place in our national story. It asks us to remember those who gave so much so that we might live, learn, and grow in peace.
“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old… We will remember them.”
As a community rooted in the forests and waterways of the Great Southern, we carry this spirit of remembrance with us — in our classrooms, on our Country, and in the values we share with our students every day.
