The Edmund Burke Society of the Riverina was very pleased to host Associate Professor Stephen McInerney, PhD of Campion College, Sydney at our meeting on Saturday, 12 July. This was our fourth meeting, marking exactly 18 months since our founding in January 2024.

Dr McInerney gave a fantastic address which touched on various topics and tried to answer the question: What does it mean to be Australian, and what ideas we need to understand and recapture if we are to retain a clearly Australian Identity.

The EBS was very pleased to host the Hon. John Anderson AC at our third meeting in Wagga Wagga last night. John spoke on "the four pillars of civilisation" and the importance of this moment in history for the future of the west.

The Edmund Burke Society of the Riverina is pleased to announce that it is the recipient of a Minor Grant from The English-Speaking Union Victoria. This grant will help the society to grow and to intellectually and politically energise English-speaking Australians in the Riverina.
