🌟 What a day at the Wagga Wagga PSSA Athletics Carnival! 🌟
Despite the cold and windy conditions at Jubilee Athletics Track, twenty-six of our students showed incredible bravery and determination. Their sportsmanship and effort were outstanding throughout the event.
We are so proud of every RHPS student who competed – well done to all! Keep up the great work! πŸ’ͺπŸ…

We are excited to invite staff and students to celebrate Refugee Week on Friday 19 June. Further information will be sent home this week about the event and how your child can be involved.

Many children from our school community are refugees or come from refugee backgrounds. We acknowledge the hardships they have faced and we recognise the contributions they make, and have made, to our school and to the Australian community.

πŸ¦€ Crab Island Crossing πŸ¦€
Last Friday, our talented Red Hill Dance Ensemble took to the stage at the Riverina Dance Festival, performing their original piece, Crab Island Crossing, inspired by the incredible migration of the Christmas Island red crabs.
After months of dedication, rehearsals and hard work, our dancers proudly performed in both the matinee and evening performances, captivating audiences with their creativity, teamwork and stage presence.
A special thank you to our choreographer, Gav, whose creativity, expertise and passion helped bring Crab Island Crossing to life. We would also like to acknowledge and thank Kellie, Mrs Higgins and Miss Parkinson for their support, encouragement and commitment to our dancers throughout the entire journey. Opportunities like this are only possible because of the dedication of staff who generously give their time and energy to support our students.
Parents and carers are warmly invited to join us next Thursday at 2:15pm in the school hall, where our Dance Ensemble will perform Crab Island Crossing at our school assembly.

πŸ“’ Update for Families using Specialist Classes Early Intervention Gate for School pick-up
Hi everyone, We wanted to let you know that the external gate near the Early Intervention (EI) playground will now remain locked each day until 2:50pm.
This change is to help us keep all students safe throughout the school day. Families will no longer be able to enter the EI playground area before 2:50pm to wait for their children.
If you need access before that time, please come through the front office.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we put these safety measures in place.
