The NSW SES advises people in the following area(s) to PREPARE NOW for forecast heavy rainfall with flash flooding possible:
- Perisher Valley
- Charlotte Pass
- Thredbo
- Cabramurra
- Selwyn
- Khancoban

The Bureau of Meteorology advises a cold front and associated upper-level disturbance will traverse eastern Victoria and southern New South Wales overnight Sunday into Monday.
This event may change quickly. NSW SES will monitor the situation and update warnings if the situation changes.
HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is forecast for the alpine areas of the Snowy Mountains and South West Slopes and Plains districts from Sunday evening. Six-hourly rainfall totals up to 70 mm are possible. 24-hourly rainfall totals between 60 and 80 mm are likely, with higher falls possible. HEAVY RAINFALL should ease below warning thresholds early Monday morning.
Severe thunderstorms with HEAVY RAINFALL and DAMAGING WIND GUSTS are possible across parts of Riverina, South West Slopes, Central West Slopes and Plains, and Snowy Mountains districts this afternoon and evening. Severe Thunderstorm Warnings will be issued as required.

🔹Avoid unnecessary travel, move indoors, bring children and pets with you.
🔸Park your car under secure cover and away from trees, powerlines and drains.
🔹If safe to do so, secure or put away items, such as outdoor furniture, trampolines and roofing iron that could blow around in strong winds.

Heads up! There are some storms incoming⛈️
The Bureau of Meteorology are forecasting a cold front to cross into NSW tomorrow, causing a change in conditions after several sunny days in a row - bringing rain and the risk of storms to many locations.

We advise people to:

🔸Secure or put away loose items around your house, yard and balcony.
🔸Stay vigilant and monitor conditions.

Our teams in Wagga and surrounding areas had a busy night last night and will be out and about today responding to jobs from yesterday's weather event.

Heads up! There are some storms about⛈️

The Bureau of Meteorology advises slow moving showers and storms are moving through southern parts of the state to the west of the Snowy Mountains. Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours.

The NSW SES advises people in the following area(s) to MONITOR CONDITIONS for forecast
heavy rainfall, Flash flooding:

-Orange
-Yass
-Parkes
-Young
-West Wyalong
-Bathurst

What are we expecting?
The Bureau of Meteorology advises tropical humidity continues on the eastern flank of a low situated over the Riverina, resulting in a broad rainband. The low is moving slowly eastward and is forecast to be over the eastern Riverina by Tuesday morning, with rainfall clearing from the west in its wake.

HEAVY RAINFALL which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is possible for parts of the Riverina,
Central West Slopes and Plains, Central Tablelands, South West Slopes and Southern
Tablelands. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 40 to 70 mm are possible.

The risk of HEAVY RAINFALL is forecast to ease Tuesday morning.

The NSW SES is advising people in the following area(s) to STAY INDOORS due to intense rainfall, flash flooding:

- Wagga Wagga
- Griffith

What are we expecting?

The Bureau of Meteorology advises tropical humidity continues on the eastern flank of a low in the far southwest of the state, resulting in a broad rainband with isolated thunderstorms. This system is moving slowly eastward and is forecast to be over the eastern Riverina by Tuesday morning, with rainfall clearing from the west in its wake.

Locally INTENSE RAINFALL which may lead to DANGEROUS AND LIFE-THREATENING FLASH FLOODING is possible over eastern parts of the Riverina, South West Slopes and Southern Tablelands overnight. Six-hourly rainfall totals between 70 to 90 mm are possible.

The risk of HEAVY, LOCALLY INTENSE RAINFALL is forecast to ease throughout during Tuesday morning.
