Recycled paper bags + cardboard boxes + imagination! What a fabulous morning at Urunga Library with our Marvellous Masks holiday activity. Thank you to all the children who came along, and their adults!

The first April school holiday activity was held last Friday 10th April, with well over 20 children attending! Squishy clay was the name of the game, with some creative creatures and objects made by our enthusiastic participants.

Thanks to all those parents who came along and helped out 🙏🙏🙏 It was epic!

The activity for the second week of the holidays will be held on Friday 17th April, at 10.30am. We'll be making Marvellous Masks, and children aged 5+ yrs are welcome 🎭🤹‍♂️🎨Younger siblings can come along too, with parental assistance and supervision.

Bookings are appreciated as this helps us plan ahead to make sure we have plenty of room and materials for everyone.

Check out these free and fun school holiday activities at Urunga Library!
🔸Friday 10th April, at 10.30am - 'Clay Creations'. Use air dry clay to make a pendant gift for Mothers Day, or use your imagination to craft a small pot, or other object. Air dry clay is safe, easy to use and such fun to play with!🧉🎨
🔸Friday 17th April, at 10.30am - 'Marvellous Masks'. Use precut cardboard and other recycled materials to make a scary, funny or weird mask 🤡🤖. Let your creativity run wild under the guidance and encouragement of our talented librarian Robyn 🥰

👉Activities are suitable for children aged 5 yrs and older. Younger family members (eg your 3 or 4 yr old) may come along with their older brother or sister, as we recognise families often like to do things together! Just be prepared to stay and assist as needed.
