🔥 CALL OUT – TREE ALIGHT 🔥

This morning at approximately 6:45am, crews from Sherwood Creek and Corindi were paged to reports of a tree alight on Stuart’s Road.

Upon arrival, crews located a log still smouldering following recent hazard reduction works conducted by the Forestry Corporation.

As the log was within already burnt ground and posed no immediate risk to the surrounding area, the decision was made to leave it to burn out.

Campers and visitors are advised that logs may continue to smoulder within the hazard reduction area.
