Hey everyone, unfortunate news from dreamworld. During our visit yesterday, we came across the engineers starting to tear down the old captain sturt paddle wheeler. We asked an engineer why it was being torn down and we were informed that the struts had rotted out badly and management made the decision to pull it down. Very unfortunate news, as yet another piece of the park's history is being erased. After it's thirty long years of service, the captain sturt paddle wheeler is being retired for good.
