One from the archives — this bobtail was caught in Byford. 🦎
One of the better signs that spring is properly getting underway around Perth is seeing the bobtails starting to get about again.
After spending much of the colder months tucked away, spring brings more movement as they look for warmth, food and mates.
That means you’ll start seeing more of them crossing roads, wandering through gardens and turning up in some pretty inconvenient spots.
They can put on a good show with the open mouth and blue tongue when they feel threatened, but the best thing you can usually do is give them some space and let them continue on their way.
Have you spotted your first bobtail of spring yet? If so, what suburb?
