The today honoured more than 30 volunteers, staff and teams who have gone above and beyond in their duty. Held on the fourth of May each year, the St Florian’s Day award ceremony coincides with the Feast Day of St Florian, Patron Saint of Firefighters and International Firefighters’ Day.

Congratulations to all of this year's recipients, whose achievements span from bravery in the most challenging conditions to years of dedicated leadership and service.

Kerry and I are pleased to announce the safe arrival of our 6th grandchild.
We’d like to introduce Elsie Constance Lillian Anderson.
Elsie is child number 4 for Aaron and Clair.
She’s a sister for a Henry, Gideon and Bonnie.
Can’t wait to give her a cuddle.

🚧 Kikoira Landfill Temporarily Closed 🚧

Residents are advised that the Kikoira Landfill has temporarily closed today due to a minor fire.

The NSW RFS and Council staff responded quickly and the situation is now under control. The site will remain closed while monitoring continues to ensure safety.

We thank the community for their patience and understanding. Updates will be provided once the landfill reopens.

Residents are reminded not to dispose of batteries or other flammable items in general waste due to the fire risk they pose.
