Central Coast, this one's for you 👏

Just under 16% of households across the Central Coast are now choosing to recycle their soft plastics with Curby — and that number keeps growing!

Together, Central Coast households have now helped divert over 206,208.75 kg of soft plastics from landfill through the Curby program.

These communities are showing what’s possible when everyday households take small, consistent actions — scanning their bags, using their yellow-lid bin, and trusting the process.

🌳 Greening Our City Program expanded to the Central Coast for the first time!

Councils can now go for a share of $10 million to plant trees, shrubs and native vegetation in parks, plazas and public places.

This is an exciting opportunity to help tackle the urban heat island effect experienced across the Gosford electorate, on the Peninsula in particular.

I'll be encouraging Central Coast Council to apply for this fantastic funding!
