Great communities do not happen by accident.

Across the Eyre Peninsula, councils work alongside local organisations, businesses, volunteers and residents to help communities thrive. Council + Community will share the real stories behind those partnerships.

Each month, The District Council of Tumby Bay will introduce people who are making a difference and showcase community-led efforts, local initiatives and businesses that, with support from Council and others, are helping deliver positive outcomes across the district.

Our first story will feature Under the Pines, a volunteer-led community event that brings thousands of people together each year while raising funds that are reinvested back into local projects, facilities and community initiatives in Port Neill.

Council + Community. Better together.
