A pleasure to meet with Minister Penny Sharpe MLC to discuss Transgrid Humelink project, community benefits payments, state significant projects now and into the future, and discuss changing legislation to catch up with this fast moving world.

My thanks to Dr Joe McGirr MP for hosting the meeting at City of Wagga Wagga council chambers.

A good discussion about the impacts ,in the short and long term, to our communities with fellow Mayors Yass Valley Mayor Jasmin Jones, Paul Culhane Upper Lachlan Shire Council , City of Wagga Wagga Mayor Dallas Tout and GM Peter Thompson.

At the foot of Australia's highest peaks, there is Khancoban. It's a place built twice - first by cattlemen chasing fresh alpine pastures, then by workers blasting tunnels through solid rock and bending water to the will of a nation. This is country of purpose, shaped by endurance.

Khancoban by RB Sellars - coming soon.

Loving having our area showcased in the Lifestyle Magazine ☑️.

Thank you to the Adelong Progress Association, The Apple Thief, Khancoban United Volunteer Association (KUVA), Tumbarumba Chamber of Commerce and Business Snowy Valleys for backing this magazine.

Our beautiful area shared with the Greater Hume Council and Upper Murray Inc.

The magazine gives a small taste of the culture, skills, passion and beauty of our area.

Congratulations to our local photographers Grant Hardwick Videography and Peter McDade.

Elizabeth and Alex Tickle thank you for bringing this stunning publication together.

Kokoda Trek

Every two years, the Tumbarumba Rotary Club organises a group of leaders to es**rt 15 to 17 year old students on the Kokoda Trail.

This tradition, initiated 25 years ago by Bruce Wright OAM with the assistance of others, notably Grant Harris, continues to thrive.

During the recent school holidays, the trek took place and all participants returned following a successful and particularly enjoyable experience .

Bruce presented certificates to the students and leaders congratulating all on this massive achievement . Thank you to all involved
