From lunchtime to the evening and into the night at Mt Lawson/Walwa fire Victoria near Walwa well it was a extreme day on the fire ground today thanks to our crew from Tumbarumba 1 Tumut 1 and Adelong 7 there was a fire tornado that hit the fire ground which damaged a CFA vehicle they were so lucky to escape we did not loose any houses in our sector today while we were there and also we had a red flagged which means we had lightning dropping on the fire ground due to the amount of smoke that was producing its own storms
