At Silvans, R U OK? Day isn’t something we believe should happen just once a year.

Our senior management and operational leaders are encouraged and trained to regularly check in with our people not only about their work, but about how they’re really doing.

This photo captures exactly that. It was a random moment captured by one of our clients when one of our Operations Managers visited a private hospital site in Melbourne’s west and took the time to personally check in with one of our frontline team members.

For us, leadership isn’t only about managing operations, KPIs and service delivery. It’s about being present, listening, showing respect and genuinely caring for the people on the ground.

Some people don’t just work for a company they become part of its story.

This photo features one of our longest-serving team members in NSW, who began her journey with Silvans supporting one of our premier clients, Ericsson, at an A-Grade commercial building.

Over the years, her dedication, reliability and pride in her work have seen her recognised many times as one of our outstanding team members. Among our 1,800 direct employees and 2,000+ people across our broader supply network throughout Australia and New Zealand, she is someone we will always remember.

Recently, one of the sporting clubs we proudly sponsor asked us to select an image to represent Silvans in their annual magazine.
