โš ๏ธ Leave extra space between vehicles
โš ๏ธ Never drive through a flooded road
โš ๏ธ Always obey road closure signs

๐ŸŒซ๏ธ Driving in the fog today? Slow down and stay safe!๐Ÿš—
Dense fog can turn familiar roads into major hazards in an instant. Drop your speed, leave plenty of space between you and the car ahead, and make sure to use your **low-beam headlights** or fog lights (high-beams will just reflect the glare back at you!).

Give yourself extra time and letโ€™s make sure everyone gets to their destination safely.
Safe travels!

The local emergency services showcased their capabilities in Swansea today, to celebrate National Volunteer Week. TAS SES - Glamorgan Springbay Unit , Swansea Volunteer Fire Brigade, Freycinet Volunteer Marine Rescue, and local Tasmania Police officers were all represented.
Big thank you extends to Constable Matt Massie for organising a Star Flight Rescue helicopter to land on the Swansea Recreation Ground it was amazing to meet the crew and listen to their experiences.
Thank you also to Kelvin Jones and the SES members for the RCR and patient care demonstration.
Great day highlighting how the emergency services work together in times of emergency.

As we come to the end of National Volunteer Week from this page's admins we would like to say our thank you๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ to all our members for their contributions to the community, whether it is on calls, honing their skills at training or attending community events.
To the members that take the time to look after the community members effected by events that have spiralled out of control and need the Brigade's attendance. As these people are our community some members take the extra time to follow up with families to see how they are coping.
Thank you for your caring, your kindness and thoughtfulness.
It's not just about running towards the flames ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ its about making a difference in someone's life when they are at a low point, showing someone they matter.
It's not about individuals its about community, family and a chance to give back.
We appreciate you all, past and present๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿš’๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿš’
