This is the last weekend of the exhibition for our current 2D Guest Artist Justine Hutchison. Justine is a contemporary artist based in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria, Australia, working primarily in oils from life. Drawing on a background in graphic design, she has developed her painting practice through a combination of self-directed study and tuition in traditional tonal technique.
Her work spans still life, portraiture and landscape, where plein air studies sit alongside more considered studio compositions. Across these subjects, her paintings share a quiet, observational sensibility.

Welcoming Little Gallery’s next amazing guest featured artist, Glenlyon Ceramicist Rowena Hannan. Rowena Hannan has been working as a practicing ceramic artist and teacher for over thirty years.
Focusing largely on figurative sculpture, she has exhibited in both solo and group shows throughout this period along with the completion of some large
public sculptures which have allowed her to explore
a range of other materials beyond clay, such as
concrete, bronze and steel. Throughout her years
of artistic practice, she is constantly drawn to the
narrative in her concepts, and these encompass her

Celebrating the stunning artwork by our current featured guest artist, painter Justine Hutchison. Justine is a contemporary artist based in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria, working in oils from life. Drawing on a background in graphic design, her work spans still life, portraiture and landscape, with a quiet, observational sensibility and an interest in stillness, gentleness and subtle tonal shifts. Her work is represented by General Public Art (US) and held in private collections in Australia and the United States. In 2026, she was awarded the Gallery Mount Macedon Art Prize. Today we are proudly featuring our current 3D guest artist kay Goldfinch. Kay’s hand made ceramics are inspired by textured forms such as sea creatures, seed pods plus natural scavenged objects from the sea, waterways and forests. Her preference is to use white stoneware or porcelain clays as their whiteness enhances the detail nature of her work. Pieces are decorated by the use of stains, oxides and various glazes to highlight the desired effect. Please visit to see her stunning work up close and in detail.
