The Shire of Trayning covers an area of 1,632 sq kms consisting of agricultural land, nature reserves and the townsites of Kununoppin, Trayning and Yelbeni.

Can you believe it’s September already?! 🌤️🌾 As we step into a brand-new month, we are incredibly excited to introduce our theme for the weeks ahead: Natural Wonders of the Wheatbelt Way.

While we love our vibrant flora and endless horizons, this month we are shining a massive spotlight on the geological giants that make our region so unique—our spectacular granite outcrops, our vast reserves that fill with wildflowers and our many gnamma holes! 🥾🎒

From hidden caves to perfect picnic spots and sweeping views under big blue skies, these outcrops are the ultimate playground for road-trippers. We can't wait to show you our favourites and give you some major inspiration for your next weekend escape.
