The Traralgon Community Toy Library is a volunteer run, not for profit service which works like a book library offering a variety of toys that can be borrowed by families with children birth to 8 years of age. The attraction of a toy library is that children do not get bored with the same toys as they can be swapped regularly. Parents and carers have the luxury of borrowing a variety of quality to
ys to suit all interests and developmental stages. The toy range is extensive and includes slides, bikes, puzzles, dress ups, games, indoor and outdoor toys, musical toys and lots more. Membership per family costs only $50 per year or $25 concession. It is easy to join and when asked, members comment that it is wonderful to see their children experience that special buzz of new toys every time they borrow. Being part of a community not for profit is also a great way to meet new people and be involved. The TCTL is situated at the Kath Teychenne centre and is open Saturday 10.00am to 11:30am for new members.
