At 3:30am on March 28th, the retained crew from 464 were paged to relieve existing crews in Hamilton South with fire watch duties.

Upon arrival, we were redirected by members of the public to a second fully alight unit on another street. Tanker 464 was first on scene and conducted an offensive fire attack, followed by a thorough search of all other units in the complex.

With the assistance of numerous local appliances and crews, the fire was contained to a single unit. Residents were able to return to their homes at around 8:00am.

A great result, and many thanks to crews from 260, 357, 252, and 251 for their assistance.
