STAGE 2 NETBALL 🏐

Stage 2 had a fantastic day at the Netball Gala Day! One team won all their games bar one draw, while the other team won all but one of their games. Both teams should be incredibly proud of their efforts! The students demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, teamwork and determination throughout the day, supporting one another and representing our school beautifully. Well done, Stage 2! 🏐

🐛🦋 Insect Investigations in 1/2DH! 🐞🐜

1/2DH have been busy investigating all sorts of insects in our environment to inspire our informative writing! We have loved spotting and learning about ants, butterflies and ladybirds, but our favourite experience has been watching our very own class silkworms grow from tiny eggs into hungry little caterpillars! 🐛

We were especially excited to gently hold our silkworms, observe their appearance up close and watch how they move. We have been busy feeding them fresh mulberry leaves each day and are amazed at how quickly they are growing!

We can’t wait to watch them spin their silky cocoons and eventually emerge as beautiful silk moths! What an exciting way to bring our learning to life! 🌿✨
