🚦Today is Fatality Free Friday.

This day is an important reminder that safer choices on our roads can make a real difference for ourselves, our families and our community.

Every year, lives are lost or changed forever in road crashes.

Today, take a moment to slow down, stay alert and look out for each other. Because no journey is more important than getting home safely.

Remember to drive safely this Fatality Free Friday.

For everyone’s safety as we deliver the Cressbrook Dam Safety Improvement Project (CDSIP), we're changing the buoy line to restrict watercraft accessing the spillway and Little Oaky Creek.

This week, the buoy line will be moved from the pump station and ran northeast to the other side of the dam.

This change will remain in place for the duration of the project.

Boating in other areas of Lake Cressbrook will remain available.

As part of QLD Youth Week activities this year, our Youth Connect team hosted a series of hands-on photography workshops for the “Let’s Frame It” photography project.

The project was displayed at our Rosalie Gallery in Goombungee and gave our Region’s young people the chance to explore their creativity, tell their stories, showcase their perspective through the lens and see their work celebrated in a real gallery space.

This is one small highlight of our QLD Youth Week activities, which attracted hundreds of young people and created opportunities for them to connect in their community.
