The Commission has been undertaking a deep analysis of the residential care model over the past few months. Next week, it will hold its final hearing block in Brisbane between Tuesday 7 April and Friday 17 April. The public hearing will hear evidence about matters relating to the costs of residential care for children and young people in State care to understand the practical and financial challenges impacting the residential care model.
