📢 Friendly Reminder for Our Future Year 7 Students and Families!

We're excited to welcome our incoming Year 7 students for 2027! If you haven't already registered for our Year 6 into Year 7 Transition Morning, now is the time to do so.

Our transition morning is a fantastic opportunity for students to become familiar with the school, meet staff and future classmates, and build confidence ahead of starting secondary school.

As part of our Agriculture program, students have been busy growing and harvesting this season's ginger, and it's now available for purchase from the school office!

This year Wilsonton SHS students and staff are participating in the Push Up Challenge. They are aiming to complete 3,307 push-ups in 24 days as part of The Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness and funds for mental health in Australia. Funds raised will go to headspace Toowoomba to support much-needed mental health services and initiatives in Australia.

🏆 House Spirit Update! 🏆

Our House competition is heating up, with points recently awarded for student attendance of 92% and above, as well as participation in Day 1 of the Push-Up Challenge by both students and staff.

Current standings are:
🥇 Carbal – 25,297 points
🥈 Ngui – 24,607 points
🥉 Cumboogie – 22,112 points
🏅 Gurroman – 20,325 points

Every day counts, and every point makes a difference! Keep showing your House pride through positive attendance, participation, and getting involved in school activities.

What an incredible night!

On behalf of the Wilsonton State School P&C Association and Wilsonton State High School P&C Association, THANK YOU to everyone who attended and supported our Combined P&C Trivia Night.

To our amazing guests – thank you for bringing your enthusiasm, team spirit, laughter and generosity. Your support helps both school communities continue to provide opportunities and resources for our students.

A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers who gave their time before, during and after the event. From planning and setup to serving food, selling raffle tickets, scoring rounds and packing up, this event would not have been possible without you.

Special thanks to our fantastic MC for keeping the night running smoothly and ensuring everyone had a great time.

We would also like to sincerely thank our generous sponsors and prize donors. Your support helped make the evening a tremendous success, and we are incredibly grateful for your contribution to our schools.

During Week 7 and 8 we are focusing on the school value of Respect by valuing others and showing tolerance.

At Wilsonton, respect looks like:
