We will be shaking tins on Good Friday (tomorrow) for the Royal Childrens Hospital Good Friday Appeal. We will be very loud throughout the streets of Toora and Port Franklin, so please pop out and say hi and give that they may grow! ❤️💜🪙💸

Restrictions end AFTER the easter weekend!

All of our volunteers would like to spend their Easter with family and friends, not putting out fires that shouldn't have been lit. 🧯

A Total Fire Ban has been declared for the Central, Wimmera, South West, North Central and West & South Gippsland fire weather districts for Tuesday 17 February 2026.

No fires can be lit, or be allowed to remain alight, in the open air from 12:01 AM until 11:59 PM.

Toora Fire Brigade Capitan Tim, has just sent through these photos of our Big Fill and its crew doing its job at Tallangatta Valley.
Our thoughts are with all the CFA members volunteering their time to help save multiple communities around the state.
We hope the cooler weather brings some respite and these fires back under control quickly.

Our Big Fill has been deployed to Tallangatta to help with the current fire situation up there.
It has gone with our captain Tim and Foster Lieutenant James. Lets wish them a safe and successful campaign. 🤞
