📚Year 3 have been reading Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes.
Guided by our lead origamist, Louis, Lilly Pilly have been busy creating paper cranes in their spare time. Many students (and their teacher) are definitely out of their comfort zone but enjoying the challenge and how beautiful they all look hung up in the classroom! 💕

🛎️ PBL Focus: Stop, Pack Up & Go! 🛎️

This coming fortnight, students at TPS will be revisiting our playground expectations and what to do when the bell rings.

Teachers are looking for students who:
✅ Stop playing as soon as the bell rings
✅ Pack Up playground and sports equipment
✅ Go straight to their class lines
✅ Walk safely and promptly to the correct area

Following our Stop, Pack Up & Go routine helps keep our playground organised and ensures everyone is ready to get back to learning quickly. 💛💙💚

🌟 Check out our PBL Superstars in 3 Steelwood! 🌟

3 Steelwood have been doing a fantastic job demonstrating our PBL focus, Following Instructions! 👏

They are showing us how to follow instructions by:

👂 Using whole body listening during News
🎨 Being in the Right Place, Right Time by staying seated during Art
🎒 Following their end-of-day routine by packing up and standing behind their desks ready for instructions

Great job, 3 Steelwood, for showing us what it looks like to be safe, respectful learners! 💛💚💙
