📸 Volunteers needed – Thorpdale Potato Festival Photography Competition

The photography competition has been a much-loved part of the Potato Festival in the past, but the current committee is at capacity and won't be able to run it for 2027 without help from the community.

We're looking for a community group or a few keen volunteers to take it on. Someone who's run the comp before is happy to help out in an advisory capacity, so you won't be starting from scratch.

Edit - dog is home with its owner; the angle of the photo makes it look in poor condition when it is in fact well looked after. Just went on an adventure today.

This dog is roaming again. If this is your dog, look after it and please feed the poor thing. Someone tied it up at the post boxes behind the bakery earlier this afternoon. Please collect it asap.
