This morning we welcomed Mayors & General Managers from our member councils as well as the Mayor, General Manager and CEO of Central Coast Council to our bi-monthly Joint Organisation meeting.

Hunter Councils Environment Division presented a range of project area collateral to the Hunter JO meeting. Materials from recent projects, the launch of the Garage Sale Trail and the redevelopment of a regional Vegetation Map were just some of the highlights.

In addition to this, rebate cheques were handed to our Hunter member Councils as a result of their respective use of Regional Procurement contracts. This will be an annual occurrence and is made possible by the ongoing support of Regional Procurement contracts by client councils.
Did you know, 30% of all management fees paid by our suppliers to Regional Procurement is returned to our client councils in all regions across NSW at the end of each financial year.
