Alex: expresses current focus on studies over dating; Simon: Reflects on being a shy young man overcoming anxiety; Julie: Shares her story of finding a 20-year relationship; Alex (Female Guest): Discusses the difficulties of navigating visual-heavy dating apps; Anthony: Offers advice on building social connections naturally and speaks candidly about how society often underestimates adults with disabilities in romantic contexts.

Something a little different is heading to Bendigo!
Getting to a major city expo isn't always easy, especially for people living and working in regional communities. That's why ATSA is bringing assistive technology closer to home with the first ATSA Expo Local Edition in Bendigo on Tuesday 20 October.
This free one-day event will bring together around 30 assistive technology suppliers, giving people the chance to see, try and explore a wide range of products without travelling to Melbourne.
The focus is on hands-on demonstrations, conversations and connections. No seminar program, no huge exhibition halls. Just time to ask questions, test equipment and speak directly with exhibitors.

Oh and by the way, Vision Australia Radio will be there on the day too! So come over and say hello!

🤖 AI takes centre stage at Radiodays Asia 2026

From AI-powered content creation and audio production to new opportunities for accessibility and audience engagement, artificial intelligence was a major talking point on day one of Radiodays Asia 2026 in Jakarta yesterday.

Vision Australia Radio's Jason Gipps is attending the conference as a Radiodays Asia ambassador and is reporting on behalf of Vision Australia Radio and radioinfo.com.au covering some of the key discussions, trends and challenges facing broadcasters, podcasters and audio creators across the region whilst advocating for people with disability to be considered, consulted with and included in radio and audio production globally.
