Great to see our children raising money for a worth while cause. Last week the SRC and the P & C joined forces to raise over $500 for Rural Aid. That is an incredible effort for a school of 62!
We also spied Fernleigh Public School raising $1000! Small schools leading the way!

HUGE Friday! It doesn't stop there, in the evening, starting at 5pm we will be having our termly Movie Night. The school P & C will be donating all of the takings to Rural Aid. We only have 62 children but we have a big impact!

This Friday is set to be HUGE! During the day the kids are holding a fundraiser for Rural Aid. They are dressing up and holding a great book swap (they have also been designing book marks to give away at the Great Book Swap)! One of our Year 2 children has even started a go fund me page, asking for donations to give to Rural Aid instead of birthday presents!

A HUGE day Bangalow BBQ & Bluegrass Festival! Thanks to Fletcher and his team for helping us expand our arts programme at The Pocket School. We had fun running our side show alley stall and keeping everyone hydrated with our drinks stall.

Do you want free entry to the Bangalow Bluegrass Festival? We are giving away free entry to this amazing event. All you need to do is donate some time to help staff either a drink stall or a side show alley stall this Saturday. It will be loads of fun and all the money we raise goes into our Creative Arts programme. If you can help simply leave a comment here and we will be in touch or send our P & C president, Juz, a message. Her number can be found on the reverse of this weeks canteen form.
