8 students travelled a 12 hour round trip to Coolah for the North West Cross Country to race against 70 other kids in their age groups.

Reuben 33rd
Cooper 58th

All students gave it their best and when asked was it cold down there, their reply was, "Not when we finished!"

The wet weather held us back from our athletics training for sport but didn't stop us from competing in ball games.
We had some very excited students because they got to refine their skills with these games - in preparation for our athletics carnival.

We wonder if any parents might be brave enough to play some ball games against the teachers?!

Parents and carers
A reminder that the bus lane next to the school is not a drop off point for students. This is dangerous for our kids and incoming and outgoing buses. We ask that all students are dropped off and picked up in Wood Street.

The Seedlings had a wonderful time creating their own grass heads!🌱
They painted their pots, added the soil and grass seeds, and have been learning how to care for their plants by placing them in a sunny spot and watering them regularly. We are excitedly watching them grow and noticing the changes each day!☀️💧🌿

The Sprouts have been showing off their phonics knowledge in their writing. We are using our studied set 1, 2 and 3 sounds to write familiar words, with some students even working to utilise higher level digraphs to spell tricky words. Fantastic work Sprouts!
