Today we said congratulations, well done and farewell to this fantastic group of intern teachers from University of Newcastle who have completed their final teaching placement with us over the past 8 weeks!

Thank you for everything you have brought to our school during your time with us and we wish Miss Marquet, Miss Murphy, Miss Jeffrey, Mrs Unsworth & Mr Jennings all the best as they complete their studies and being their careers as fully qualified teachers.

We also want to acknowledge the incredible staff who have supported and mentored them during this placement so thank you Mrs Drinkwater, Mrs Sullivan, Mrs Davidson, Mrs Wunderwald, Mrs Naylor, Mr Lewis and Mrs McBean.

🦈 Stage 1 Excursion Fun! 🐟

What an amazing time our Year 1 and Year 2 students had on their Stage 1 excursions on Monday and Tuesday!

We learnt lots of fascinating facts about sharks, stingrays and other sea creatures. The children loved getting up close to pat and feed them—even if there were a few nervous faces and squeals along the way!

A fantastic day was had by all, and plenty of wonderful memories were made.
