R U OK? Day is a reminder that a simple conversation can make a real difference.

Take a moment to check in with the people around you, both at school and at home. You don’t need to have all the answers; sometimes, simply asking "Are you okay?" and taking the time to listen can mean more than you realise.

If you notice that someone you care about may be struggling, be brave enough to start a conversation. A meaningful check-in could make all the difference.

R U OK? A conversation could change a life.

Dear Year 11 Students Attending Formal,

Please be advised that there is currently increased traffic near Grandstar Reception Centre due to a car incident.

We recommend departing early and allowing extra travel time to account for any delays.

We look forward to seeing everyone attending soon and, most importantly, safely.

Kind regards,
Tarneit Senior College

Wyndham City is delighted to launch the Wyndham Citizen and Young Citizen Awards nominations, open until the 4th of October 2026.

Our Young Citizen of the Year Award nominations are open to residents aged 16 – 25 years, with Citizen of the Year Award nominations open to ages 26 and above.

These Awards recognise the efforts of Wyndham City residents who, through hard work and dedication, have significantly contributed to our community.

This could be reflected in areas such as education, health, fundraising, charitable and voluntary services, business, sport, art, the environment and others.

We know our community is filled with people doing amazing work to help others and community recognition can make a big difference in a young person’s life.

Further information about eligibility and criteria for nominations is available at www.wyndham.vic.gov.au/citizenawards.

Hello Tarneit Senior College Community,

As part of our College Reporting, we run through three cycles of progress reports per semester. These are referred to as Engagement Progress Reports. Academic Reporting and feedback are communicated through Compass Learning Tasks and the At-Risk Process. This information can be accessed via Compass or communicated by the classroom teacher.

The Engagement Progress Reports will report on:
• Attendance
• Arriving to class on time
• Bringing the required equipment
• Use of class time
• Responding to feedback

The minimum benchmark for these behaviours is 75.00. It is vitally important that students are displaying these positive learning behaviours on a regular basis as they will have a direct impact on student academic growth and success.

For Parents or Guardians who are seeking further information or clarification around the Engagement Progress Reports, please contact the college at [email protected]
