Supporting our families with SchoolTV
At Taree West Public School, we know that supporting the wellbeing of our students is something we share with families. From navigating friendships and big emotions to managing screen time, anxiety, sleep and the challenges of growing up, sometimes a little extra support and information can make a big difference.
We are pleased to introduce SchoolTV, a free online resource for our families that provides practical, accessible information to help parents and carers support their children’s mental health and wellbeing.
SchoolTV covers a wide range of topics including resilience, anxiety, friendships, bullying, social media, screen time, sleep and more. It features interviews with world-leading experts and provides a carefully curated range of resources from trusted organisations. These resources can help families build their understanding of mental health, recognise early signs of concern and feel more confident having positive conversations at home.

We encourage all of our families to explore SchoolTV and make use of the resources whenever they may be helpful. Together, we can support our children to develop the skills, confidence and resilience they need to thrive.
